Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak prefers a move to Barcelona to a transfer to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer of 2022, according to Sport.
Sport have reported that both Arsenal and Barcelona are keen on signing Isak from La Liga club Sociedad at the end of the season.
The Sweden international striker has a release clause of €80 million (£66.95 million).
The report has added that Isak prefers a move to Barcelona to a transfer to Arsenal, but the La Liga club are looking at the 22-year-old as a potential alternative to Erling Haaland.
So, according to the report, If Barcelona are unable to sign striker Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, then they will go for Isak.
And the 22-year-old Sweden international striker is willing to wait to see what Barcelona do before making his final decision.

Could Arsenal sign Alexander Isak?
In our view, Arsenal could still secure the services of Isak in the summer of 2022.
Yes, Barcelona are a big club, but the Blaugrana signed former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.
Both of Arsenal’s senior strikers, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, are out of contract at the North London club at the end of the season.
So, in our view, Isak would have a better chance of playing regular football at Arsenal than at Barcelona.
And that could just sway Isak towards the Gunners eventually.
