Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that Trent Alexander-Arnold has fully recovered from his injury and is ready to play against Benfica on Tuesday evening, as quoted in This Is Anfield.
Alexander-Arnold recovered from his recent injury and started the Premier League game against Watford at the weekend on the bench.
Klopp has now suggested that the the 23-year-old right-back he himself described as “influential” on Liverpool’s official website last month is “ready” to be unleashed against Benfica tonight.
Liverpool will take on Benfica away from home in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie on Tuesday evening.
Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold
Klopp said about Alexander-Arnold, as quoted in This Is Anfield: “Trent trained now four, five days, not sure exactly, but he’s ready as well.”

Huge boost
In our opinion, Alexander-Arnold potentially starting for Liverpool against Benfica in the Champions League tonight is a huge boost to the Reds’ chances of winning the first leg.
The England international is one of the best right-backs in the world who is extremely good going on the attack.
Alexander-Arnold creates chances with his crosses and passes, and he would be massive for Liverpool in Portugal tonight.
The Liverpool no. 66 has scored two goals and provided 11 assists in 26 Premier League appearances so far this season.
Alexander-Arnold has also given two assists in five Champions League games for the Merseyside club this campaign.
