Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold seems to be a fan of reported target and Barcelona midfielder Pedri, according to his social media activity.
The Mirror reported on Saturday that Liverpool are interested in signing Pedri from Barcelona in the summer of 2021.
The defending Premier League champions have made contact with the teenager’s agents, according to the report, which has added that there is a release clause of £70 million in the midfielder’s contract.
Pedri was in action for Barcelona against Real Madrid in El Clasico on Saturday evening.
Former Barcelona striker Gary Lineker was following the match, and he was impressed by the performance of the Spain international.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and England international star claimed on Twitter that Pedri will be a superstar, and his post on the social networking site was ‘liked’ by Liverpool right-back Alexander-Arnold.
Pedri has established himself as a key figure in the current Barcelona team, and has scored two goals and provided three assists in 30 La Liga games so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Liverpool may want the youngster this summer, but Barcelona are unlikely to sell him, with The Mirror reporting that they want to hand him a new contract and increase his release clause to £350 million.
