Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos was the subject of intense speculation during the winter window.

Former Rangers midfielder Alex Rae has blasted Gers owner Dave King for giving Graeme Murty the final say on whether Alfredo Morelos’ future amid bids from the Chinese Super League earlier this season.
Morelos, 21, was the subject of huge speculation, with the Scottish Sun claiming that Beijing Renhe even made a take-it-or-leave-it offer of £11million for the Colombian powerhouse.

Owner King was quoted by the Scotsman as saying that he gave caretaker manager Murty the decision whether to keep or sell Morelos: “Secondly the manager made a decision not to sell him, it was completely up to the manager.”
But Rae has ridiculed King for giving a “stand-in manager” the decision on whether to keep Morelos who could have been sold for an eight-figure fee – in which the Gers could have reinvested or paid off some of their loans.
Morelos remains the Gers’ top scorer this season with 18 in all competitions, but has netted just once in the Light Blues’ last seven Scottish Premiership outings.
He has even been ridiculed by some Celtic fans after failing to score against Brendan Rodgers’ side despite plenty of clear-cut chances to beat the likes of Craig Gordon and Scott Bain.
It remains to be seen if incoming manager Steven Gerrard will decide to keep the former HJK Helsinki striker, if interest from the Chinese Super League or indeed elsewhere remains in Morelos,
