Alex Rae has praised Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos on Twitter for his performance at Ibrox in midweek.

Morelos was the star of the show for Rangers on Wednesday evening, as the Colombia international striker scored four goals in the Gers’ 5-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup fifth-round replay at Ibrox on Wednesday evening.

Former Rangers midfielder Rae has claimed that the performance of the 22-year-old – who stands at 5 ft 10 in – for Steven Gerrard’s side against Kilmarnock was one of the best individual displays for many years.
