Rangers duo Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have been suspended at Ibrox.

Former Rangers midfielder Alex Rae has told BBC Sport that if Alex McLeish, Walter Smith or Graeme Souness had been in the dressing room as manager, then the whole fracas would have been avoided.
Veteran striker Kenny Miller and club captain Lee Wallace have been suspended by the club after a heated exchange in the immediate aftermath of Sunday’s 4-0 loss to rivals Celtic with manager Graeme Murty.

It is likely that Miller has played his last game for the club, with the 38-year-old in the final two months of his contract, while doubts remain over the future of left-back Wallace.
But Rae believes if one of McLeish, Smith or Souness had been in Murty’s position as manager, then the duo would not have been suspended for expressing their views in the dressing room.
“If you had someone in there like Graeme Souness, Walter Smith or Alex McLeish, I’m not sure you’d have had the reaction of the players, particularly on the bench,” Rae said.
“There’s always been words within the dressing room but I’m not sure one of those guys would have suspended people on the back of words being shared.”

In what was an emotion-filled afternoon for Rangers, Andy Halliday was also visibly upset after being substituted in the 41st minute before Greg Docherty and Alfredo Morelos were caught arguing after the full-time whistle.
The Gers are now launching an investigation into what happened in the dressing room at Hampden Park before deciding what action to take in regards to Miller and Wallace.
