James Forrest is playing well for Neil Lennon’s Celtic at the moment.

The former Rangers midfielder is impressed with the current form of Forrest, and believes that it was under current Leicester City boss Rodgers that he started to score goals on a regular basis.
Rae said about Forrest on BT Sport 1 (7:10pm, October 30, 2019): “I think it’s Brendan Rodgers who actually started to coach him and get him in off the line, contributed with a lot more goals, and rightly so he was the Player of the Year last year, and he has carried that form into this season as well.”
Stats
According to WhoScored, Forrest has scored five goals in 11 Scottish Premiership appearances for Celtic so far this season.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the Scotland international winger scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists in the league for the Hoops, while back in 2017-18, he scored eight goals and provided seven assists in the league, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Successful season
Celtic have won the Scottish Premiership title for the past eight seasons and have clinched the domestic treble for the last three years.
The Hoops are aiming to win everything in Scotland this season as well, and are also looking to progress to the knockout round of the Europa League.
