Does Craig Gordon have a future at Celtic now Fraser Forster has been signed up?

Alex Rae has stated that he can’t see Craig Gordon leaving Celtic this summer despite the writing being on the wall for the senior goalkeeper.
Fraser Forster returned to the club on Thursday and moved ahead of Gordon in the pecking order as he helped Celtic to a 3-1 win against Hearts.
Scott Bain made the number one spot his own towards the back end of last season, but he is currently on the sidelines with an injury.
Speaking to BT Sport’s official Periscope account (25/08/2019), Rae believes Gordon is now the third choice at the club, but he explained why he cannot see him leaving.
On who’s first, second & third choice at Celtic: “Forster, Bain and then big Craig Gordon unfortunately,” Rae told BT Sport. “It’s interesting because a year ago I think Chelsea came knocking for the big chap, he knocked it back and thought he was going to be the number one.

“Now it looks as though he’s going to go back down to number three. I can’t see him moving. Who’s going to pay his wages [if he goes out on-loan before his contract runs out]. Who can afford that?”
Gordon, who joined the Glasgow club in 2014 [Celtic’s official website], has been a great servant to the club, but it seems as though his time at the club could be coming to an end.
On the other hand, Forster has made a return to the club after his career at Southampton began to stagnate, as his next Premiership encounter will be against Rangers.
The experienced shot-stopper is a smart purchase by Neil Lennon because he will be used to playing for Celtic in such pressure situations.
