Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have leapfrogged Brendan Rodger’s Celtic to the top of the Scottish Premiership table for the time being.
Rangers have got the better of Heart of Midlothian 2-1 away from home this afternoon to claim pole position in the league standings.
Connor Goldson and Alfredo Morelos scored the goals for the Gers, who had Scott Arfield sent off on 72 minutes.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, visitors Rangers had 55% of the possession, took 17 shots of which eight were on target, and earned 10 corners, according to BBC Sport.
The result means that Rangers are now at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 30 points from 14 matches.
Celtic, who have dominated Scottish football for the past few years, are now second in the standings with 29 points from 13 matches.

Brendan Rodgers’s side are taking on Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup final this afternoon.
Former Rangers duo Alex Rae and Kevin Thomson have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the win for Rangers.
