Tottenham Hotspur let go of Alex Pritchard in 2016, and he returned with Huddersfield Town yesterday.

Alex Pritchard has praised Tottenham Hotspur, after making a return to his former club with Huddersfield Town yesterday.
Pritchard came through Tottenham’s academy, but never quite made the grade for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The attacking midfielder left Spurs back in 2016 to join Norwich City, and he has now earned his way back to the top level.

Pritchard’s good form for Norwich saw Huddersfield buy him in January, and he has since gone on to force his way into David Wagner’s team.
Pritchard was indeed named in Huddersfield’s starting line-up against Spurs, but the match did not have a happy ending for the 24-year-old.
Tottenham ran out 2-0 winners against the Terriers, and were largely comfortable on their way to three points.
Spurs scored both their goals through Heung-Min Son, and Pritchard admitted after the match, that Pochettino’s side had impressed him.
Tottenham’s victory leaves them in fourth place in the Premier League table, while Huddersfield are in 15th spot.
