Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the club’s official website.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was on target for Liverpool in their pre-season friendly match against Hertha Berlin on Thursday evening.
The 27-year-old former Arsenal midfielder scored one of the goals for the Reds in their 4-3 defeat in Innsbruck.
The Englishman found the back of the net in the 88h minute with a beautiful volley.
Liverpool manager Klopp was impressed by the goal from Oxlade-Chamberlain, saying that it was “wonderful”.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “A wonderful goal of Ox, our goals were brilliant, we could’ve scored more.”

Timely reminder
Oxlade-Chamberlain has had injury problems during his time at Liverpool and has been essentially a squad player in recent years.
The 27-year-old made two starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Premier League and played 27 minutes in the Champions League for the Reds last season.
The former Arsenal midfielder made 17 starts and 13 substitute appearances in the league for Liverpool in 2019-20.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been linked with a move to West Ham United.
The Express reported this week that Liverpool are ready for a bid from the Hammers for the midfielder.
Oxlade-Chamberlain scoring a wonderful goal in pre-season is a timely reminder of what he is capable of.
Perhaps Klopp will make use of the midfielder next season and will not offload him this summer.
