The injured Reds star took to Twitter to thank Liverpool Supporters Club Japan for their thoughtful present.

The last few months have been difficult for Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to say the least.
Following his move from Arsenal in July last year, the England midfielder flourished under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
However, Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered a serious knee injury in the Champions League clash with Roma in April which has left him unlikely to play again until at least the end of this season.
The 25-year-old, who cruelly missed out on the Champions League final as well as England’s 2018 World Cup in Russia, is currently in the middle of a lengthy rehabilitation process.
But he clearly remains in the thoughts of many Liverpool fans, as the Japanese supporters’ club has bestowed upon him a thoughtful and intricate gift to spur him on in his recovery.
A member of the Liverpool Supporters Club Japan (LSCJ) named Yujiro flew over from his home country to England to give Ox a Senbazuru.

According to TraditionsCustoms.com, a Senbazuru is a group of one thousand origami cranes lined on a string.
The website states that, according to legend, “folding thousand origami cranes will make a wish, like for example long life or recovery from illness or injury, come true”.
And Oxlade-Chamberlain was delighted with the present, taking to Twitter to thank Yujiro and the LSCJ, as well as posting photos of the gift and signing off with “Arigatōgozaimashita” – “thank you very much”.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has made 42 appearances for Liverpool, scoring five goals and registering eight assists.
