The midfielder has once again found himself playing a substitute role for Arsenal.

Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has admitted to Goals on Sunday that he may have to consider his future at the club.
Chamberlain joined the Gunners in 2011, arriving as a highly rated youngster from Southampton.
He has struggled to fill his potential at the Emirates, though, with a series of injuries and the competition for places at the club hampering his first team chances.
He once again finds himself on the bench this season; starting just three of the Gunners eight Premier League games.

It is not an ideal situation and he admits he may look to move in future, although his focus is firmly on Arsenal at this moment in time.
“I’d be lying if I wasn’t going to sit here and say that it hasn’t crossed my mind that I need more game time,” he told Goals on Sunday.
“There is going to come a time in my career, and I think I’m approaching that when I do need to be getting more regular football, but my focus completely and utterly now is on playing for Arsenal.”

Unfortunately for Oxlade-Chamberlain, it seems he is unlikely to become a first team regular for Arsenal any time soon.
Competition on either wing is fierce, with Theo Walcott in the best form of his life and youngster Alex Iwobi starring on the left side of their attack.
There is also no place for him in the center of midfield, where Arsene Wenger has numerous options available to him.
Injuries aside, it means Oxlade-Chamberlain is likely to find himself on the bench in future and perhaps a move at the end of the season would be his wisest choice.
