Rangers have been linked with a move for Preston North End striker Louis Moult.

Preston North End boss Alex Neil has told the club’s official Twitter account that fans need to be patient with January signings Billy Bodin and Louis Moult.
The Lilywhites are pushing for a play-off place after a superb season under Neil, and will be hoping for big contributions from both Bodin and Moult in the coming weeks.
North End tied up a deal for ex-Wrexham man Moult in December, with the striker moving over from Motherwell in January after hitting 50 goals in 98 games for the Scottish side.

Just days after the January transfer window opened, Preston also brought in another former non-league player as Bodin arrived from Bristol Rovers, though neither player has quite hit the ground running at Deepdale just yet.
Bodin has grabbed one goal and won two penalties for North End but hasn’t yet played a starring role, whilst Moult hasn’t yet scored since arriving to boost Neil’s attacking options.
In fact, speculation from The Sun over the weekend suggested that Moult is already being eyed for a return to Scotland, with Rangers understood to be keen.

The Gers were linked with Moult before his move to Preston, and they may be hoping to finally land the 25-year-old this summer if his fortunes with North End don’t improve.
However, when asked about his two January additions, Neil has told the club’s official Twitter account that fans need to be patient as they will come good in time, suggesting that Rangers are wasting their time registering an interest in Moult.
