It’s back to Elland Road for Leeds on Tuesday, and it will be a rematch of the Carabao Cup clash from last month as Preston North End head to West Yorkshire.
One of the most impressive teams in the Championship last season, Preston simply haven’t got going this term, and lost 3-2 at home to Reading on Saturday to sit second-bottom of the table.
However, Preston did hand Bielsa his first defeat in English football in that Carabao Cup clash, with Daniel Johnson and Brandon Barker handing North End a 2-0 win with 10 men.
Manager Alex Neil now faces Bielsa again and will hope to upset the Whites at Elland Road, with the Scot discussing the Elland Road crowd today.
As quoted by Preston’s official Twitter account, Neil has admitted that he thinks Leeds fans give him a surprising amount of stick, as he can’t understand what he has done to spark such an attitude from Whites supporters.
Neil added that he thinks the atmosphere is brilliant at Elland Road and the fans are great, meaning he loves going to Elland Road despite not understanding why gets a lot of stick there.
