Leeds have sold Mallik Wilks to Barnsley.

After a busy start to July on the incoming side, Leeds United departures have begun to trickle through.
Young forward Mallik Wilks was sold to Barnsley after manager Marcelo Bielsa indicated he was not in his plans.
Wilks joins two ex Leeds pals at Barnsley, newly acquired Aapo Halme, and Alex Mowatt.
Mowatt joined Barnsley in 2017 after being sold by Garry Monk.
He came through the Leeds academy while Wilks was a junior, and he had a brilliant message for his new Barnsley teammate.
Wilks’ departure has created some frustration among Leeds fans, that he wasn’t given a chance at Elland Road.
But it should be remembered that there was much annoyance at Mowatt’s departure at the time, and he had done a lot more for Leeds.
He is yet to really prove his old side wrong.
