Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be thinking of appointing Alex McLeish to replace Pedro Caixinha and that could be good news for Kenny Miller.

Alex McLeish’s comments to the Scottish Herald earlier this season, suggest that Kenny Miller can rest assured about his future at Glasgow Rangers, if the Scottish boss takes charge at Ibrox.
McLeish has become the favourite to take over at Rangers, as the Light Blues continue to search for a new boss.
And if McLeish is Pedro Caixinha’s replacement, then he will almost certainly see Miller as a key player, if his comments from earlier this season are anything to go by.

Miller reportedly fell out with Caixinha back in October, and was dropped from Rangers’ team.
And, at that time, McLeish stated how he still felt that the 37-year-old was vital for Rangers.
“You don’t know what’s happened there on the inside until you get the full facts,” McLeish said to the Scottish Herald. “But it seems like Kenny is back on board in terms of being welcome back to first team status.
“Whether he takes his place again or whether he is a super sub – and whether he wants to be a super sub or not – he is still very useful in that dressing room.”

Since Caixinha’s departure, Miller has been brought back into Rangers’ starting line-up, and the veteran forward has shown his worth.
Miller recently scored twice and claimed an assist in a 3-1 victory for Rangers over Hearts.
Unfortunately for Miller he was unable to help his side out in their last match though, as the Gers fell to a 2-0 defeat away to Hamilton.
