Former Rangers manager Alex McLeish has showered praise on Graham Dorrans.
Alex McLeish has showered praise on Graham Dorrans, who joined Rangers on a three-year deal from Norwich City earlier this week, as confirmed by the club.
Dorrans, who previously played for West Bromwich Albion, said that signing for Rangers is a moment he has dreamed of since he was a boy.
Rangers have gone through a massive redevelopment this summer with manager Pedro Caixinha signing as many as nine new players.

However, Rangers’ recent defeat, and a humiliating one at that, against Luxembourg in the Europa League is being considered one of the worst results in not only the club’s history, but in Scottish football as well.
Despite the poor result, McLeish believes that there will be a marked improvement in Rangers’ play when Dorrans and Bruno Alves (another summer recruit) play together.
McLeish, the former Rangers boss, says that Rangers need leadership qualities from these two players, and hopes they will deliver.
The 58-year-old added that Dorrans is a good and stylish player and has got the confidence – something the Rangers’ dressing room badly needs at the moment.
“I like Graham as well. He would definitely have been a player I would have looked at if I was at Rangers, and even back when I was at Birmingham I liked him,” said McLeish, as quoted by The Glasgow Times. “At the time, I could never really get him, he had gone to West Brom and was doing well.
“He’s a good player. He’s stylish, he’s got the confidence and that’s exactly what that dressing room needs right now.
“He knows what it’s all about as a Rangers man, and it’s good to hear him say it’s a dream and that there’s never a bad time to play for Rangers. That’s a fantastic tribute to the club.
“But he has got some job on to show some leadership to the rest of the boys, and he’s got to give the team his best form as well.”
