How will Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers and Aberdeen fare in the Scottish Premiership this season?

Celtic are the favourites to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, and the Bhoys have started the campaign strongly.
The Glasgow giants have picked up maximum points from their opening three games of the season so far far.
St. Johnstone and Aberdeen are second and third respectively in the standings at the moment, with both teams also having won their respective opening three matches.
Rangers are currently sixth in the standings with four points from three matches.
Former Aberdeen defender McLeish managed Rangers from 2001 until 2006, and he has predicted Pedro Caixinha’s side to end up below Derek McInnes’s team.
The 58-year-old former Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa manager, who is a legend at both Rangers and Aberdeen, has praised the Dons’ recruitment in the summer transfer window.
“I still think Aberdeen are the favourites, the bookies certainly but also in my opinion,” The Scottish Sun quotes McLeish as saying when asked who will finish second.
“I think they still have a really good chance of finishing second. Derek McInnes has bought wisely again. He’s recruited well.
“You look at the guys he’s recruited, there’s good experience there. Again Stevie May coming in what a buy that is and what a start he had on his home debut.
“I think Derek has made some good acquisitions and he’s going to keep rolling on and it’s there for Rangers to try and usurp them and also for Hibs.”
