Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Alex Lopez has hinted at a return to Celta Vigo this summer, Goal reports.
The Spanish midfielder arrived at Hillsborough on a season-long loan last summer, but signed a new four-year deal on the eve of his exit.
Lopez, a Galician native, has made 22 appearances for the Owls this season, helping Carlos Carvalhal’s team reach the Championship play-off final.

And though the 28-year-old insists his thoughts are firmly focused on Saturday’s Wembley showdown with Hull City, he appears to be angling for a return home this summer.
“I am not thinking about that (his future),” Lopez told Goal. “Right now I am focused on May 28 and then we will see.
“I came here with the plan to spend a year on loan and enjoy a new experience that would help me mature as a footballer and as a person, in order to come back a better player to Celta.
“All things told, I have three years left on my contract and I want to contribute to the growth the club has gone through in the past few years. The only thing I can say is that this has been a great experience, I am so happy.
“I have learned a lot and I love English football.”

Lopez made his Celta debut six years ago, during their Segunda Liga days, and was instrumental in securing their return to La Liga in 2011-12.
The playmaker, who is a veteran of almost a century of Spanish top-flight appearances, caught the eye of Carvalhal during the Portuguese’s many trips north of the border.
He began the season a regular in the Owls side, but lost his place midway through the campaign, before returning to play in 11 of his loan club’s last 12 fixtures.
