Everton managed to bring in Alex Iwobi from Arsenal during the summer transfer window.

Everton spent big to bring in Iwobi from Arsenal on deadline day, in what was one of the most surprising transfers of the day.
Iwobi looked set to have an important role to play as a squad player at the Gunners, but opted to move to Goodison Park, where he is set to start more games.
And Iwobi admits that Silva’s words were what convinced him that Everton were the right club for him to join.
“I spoke to the manager and Marcel and they almost lured me in,” Iwobi said.
“The offer was too attractive for me to turn down.
“The manager was telling me, ‘There is a spot for you, we will take care of you’. Basically, all the things you want to hear as a player.”

There has been some questions raised over whether Everton have overpaid for Iwobi.
However, the Nigerian will almost certainly increase the creativity in their attacking ranks, and should step into Silva’s side’s starting line-up when he fully settles.
Iwobi has been in Everton training over the past week, but it is not yet clear whether he will get a starting opportunity at the weekend.
The Toffees are next in action against Watford on Saturday, where they will be looking to pick up their first win of the new campaign.
