Journalist Alex Crook has shared on talkSPORT (7:57am, February 17, 2023) what Harry Redknapp has told him about potentially taking charge of Leeds United.
The talkSPORT pundit has disclosed what former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United manager Redknapp told him about becoming the new Leeds boss.
Leeds are on the hunt for a new manager following the sacking of Jesse Marsch.
The West Yorkshire club are in real danger of getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
The Mirror have reported that the 75-year-old has told Leeds that he is ready to become their new manager.
However, Crook has claimed that Redknapp told him that he is not actively looking for the Leeds managerial role at the moment.
Harry Redknapp and Leeds United rumours
Crook said: “I reached out actually yesterday to Harry yesterday and said, ‘I heard a whisper that maybe you were willing to help Leeds. Can you shed any light on that?’
“And he said, ‘Alex, at the moment, I have got all of my priority helping out Sandro’.
“So that would be him distancing himself.”

Could Harry Redknapp be tempted by Leeds?
You know what? We think that Harry Redknapp could be tempted by the Leeds United managerial role.
If Leeds do approach the Englishman, then we think that he would at least consider the role.
We have seen Neil Warnock come out of retirement to become the Huddersfield Town boss.
Now, of course, we cannot expect Redknapp to become the Leeds manager on a long-term deal.
But, for a contract until the end of the season, it would not be a bad idea at all.
