Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce’s son Alex Bruce is without a club after leaving Hull City.
Former Leeds United defender Alex Bruce has predicted on social networking site Twitter that John Terry will be a success at Aston Villa.
Villa recently signed Terry on a free transfer following the defender’s departure from Premier League giants Chelsea at the end of last season.
The 36-year-old is one of the greatest centre-backs in Premier League history and had been at Chelsea his entire professional club career before his switch to Villa.
Bruce, who is 32 years of age and is the son of Villa manager Steve Bruce, has backed Terry to be a success for the Villans in the Championship next season.
The former Birmingham City and Ipswich Town defender is without a club at the moment following his departure from Hull City at the end of last season.
The 32-year-old has admitted on Twitter that he does not know where he will play next, but he has made it clear that he will not move to Villa in the summer transfer window.
