Legia Warsaw boss Aleksandar Vukovic has suggested that his side will play for a 1-1 draw with Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox this evening, as quoted in FourFourTwo.

Rangers will take on Legia Warsaw in the second leg of their Europa League playoff round tie at Ibrox in a few hours’ time.

The first leg in Poland ended in a goalless draw, meaning the the Gers have the advantage in the tie.

Rangers, though, will have their work cut out, it seems, with Legia boss Vukovic suggesting that they could play for a 1-1 draw.

FourFourTwo quotes Vukovic as saying: “We only need a 1-1 draw to go through. I don’t think there are any favourites.

“It will be difficult for us but 0-0 is a good score to bring into this match. It can help us because we know what we have to do.”

Tricky game

Rangers have a very good and strong squad, and their confidence is also high at the moment.

The Ibrox faithful will expect the team to win against Legia at Ibrox this evening, but if the Polish club come with the mindset of playing for a draw, then it is going to be very tricky for the Scottish Premiership.

Rangers simply have to make sure that they do not concede first this season, or else they could be in for a tricky evening.
