Aleksandar Mitrovic has only made three Championship starts for Newcastle United so far this season.
Aleksandar Mitrovic has told the Daily Star that he will be at Newcastle United until the end of the season.
Mitrovic has been linked with Napoli recently, as he has struggled to break into the first-team at St. James’ Park.
The forward has generally been utilised as back-up to Dwight Gayle so far this term, but Mitrovic insists he is happy on Tyneside.

“It is always nice when big clubs are interested in you, but I am at Newcastle and I want to return to the Premier League,” Mitrovic said.
“I am focusing on Newcastle and I want to score goals for them. My message to the fans is don’t worry because I will be there for the rest of the season.”
Mitrovic has made just three starts for Newcastle in the Championship so far this season.

The Serbian has found the back of the net five times in all competitions, but it has not been enough to see him become Newcastle’s first choice striker.
Gayle is currently leading the Magpies’ scoring charts, with 11 goals, and the former Crystal Palace man looks likely to continue to lead the line for Benitez’s side for the rest of the season.
Mitrovic seems content to play a back-up role at Newcastle for now, though, as the North East side go for promotion.
Newcastle are currently top of the Championship table, and they have won their last eight matches in succession.
