Fulham drew 1-1 away at Bristol City on Wednesday night.

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has told BT Sport that he was impressed with striker Aleksandar Mitrovic’s contribution against Bristol City on Wednesday night.
The Cottagers travelled to Ashton Gate after a superb 2-0 home win over Aston Villa over the weekend, and and stretched their unbeaten run to 11 league games after a 1-1 draw.
Cyrus Christie’s strong run and superb cross with the outside of his right foot picked out new signing Aleksandar Mitrovic for the opening goal, before Bristol City hit back with an equaliser from Bobby Reid.

Whilst both teams had chances to win the game, it ended in a draw, keeping Fulham fifth in the Championship table, eight points adrift of the automatic promotion spots.
It was another step in the right direction for striker Mitrovic, who started his first game for Fulham on Saturday, and has now scored his first goal for the club following his deadline day loan move from Newcastle United.
After his display against Villa on Saturday, Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic was quoted by The Chronicle as saying that Mitrovic is a ‘sensation’ – and he had more praise for his fellow Serbian following his performance against Bristol City.

Speaking to BT Sport, Jokanovic admitted that he is very pleased with what he is seeing from Mitrovic, as he offers Fulham something different – but also noted that the burly striker needs more playing time after so long on the Newcastle sidelines.
“Mitrovic needs time on the pitch, but I am very pleased with what I have seen of him so far. He offers us something different and will contribute even more in time,” said Jokanovic.
Newcastle fans often called for Mitrovic to be given more of a chance under Rafael Benitez, so they won’t be surprised by his start to life with Fulham – though whether he can save his Newcastle career with strong performances remains to be seen, having been virtually frozen out by Benitez this term.
