Liverpool fans responded to Alberto Moreno’s tweet on Sunday evening.

You have to feel a bit sorry for Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno.
The heavily-criticised Spanish defender has lost his first-team place to Andrew Robertson and hasn’t played a Premier League game since December, after missing two months through injury.
The former Sevilla man was an unused substitute in Sunday’s 2-0 win at Southampton and it appears that he doesn’t even have to play in order to attract negativity.

Moreno, a £12 million signing under Brendan Rodgers in 2014, simply congratulated his Liverpool team-mates over the win at St Mary’s on Twitter and found himself mocked by fans of the Anfield club nevertheless.
You can’t blame Liverpool fans, given how disastrous Moreno has often looked in a red shirt, but it seems that the 25-year-old has a lot of making up to do if he’s ever going to regain the supporters’ affections.
Below is some of the responses that Moreno received.
By virtue of Robertson’s form, it looks unlikely that Moreno will be back in Jurgen Klopp’s first XI for an important game any time soon.
The Scottish defender has really come into his own over the past month or so and looks to be the reliable left-back that Liverpool needed in Moreno down the years.
