According to Football London‘s Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold, Harry Winks is currently going nowhere next month despite a lack of game time.
The Athletic recently revealed that the academy graduate is an in-demand player, with sides from Spain interested in his services.
However, Gold has announced that the £50,000-a-week man will be staying in north London, with no exit in the January transfer window likely.
Whether or not that news will please Winks remains to be seen.
The 24-year-old is really struggling for action under Jose Mourinho right now. With the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele in his position, that much is to be expected.

Winks has only started three Premier League games this season, and walked straight down the tunnel after being substituted against Royal Antwerp earlier this week.
Given this situation, it wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility that the centre-midfielder forces a move away from Spurs, in our opinion.

Having said this, in our view, he may be willing to stick around for the second half of the campaign – commonly known as the ‘business’ end to the season.
With Tottenham in the Europa League Round of 32, and also in the Premier League title race, it will be a case of all hands on deck for Mourinho.
