Tottenham Hotspur boss Nuno Espirito Santo is making a strong impression on staff at the club just weeks into his reign in charge.
That’s according to Football.London’s Tottenham expert Alasdair Gold, who claims the Portuguese boss is making everybody at the club feel important.
Gold states that people around the club have told him Nuno is valuing everybody highly no matter their job, including the likes of tea ladies, kit men and receptionists.
The lines that will really intrigue Tottenham fans are those that suggest Nuno has a vibe similar to Mauricio Pochettino, and the Argentinian took similar steps with non-playing staff.
“I got, and this is exactly what I’ve been told by people around the club, there’s a Poch vibe to him.” said Gold. “I wouldn’t say they’re identical, I wouldn’t say they’re startlingly similar, but what I would say is that there’s a little bit of a Poch vibe.”
“People I know around the club have said that when he talks to you, he makes you feel like you’re part of something and that you are part of a bigger thing, that you are really fulfilling a crucial whether whether you are the tea lady, the kit man, the receptionist, your star striker, whoever you are – and that is very much something that Poch did,” he added.
Tottenham fans absolutely loved Pochettino, and were dreaming of him coming back to replace Jose Mourinho this summer.

That didn’t happen, but Tottenham do need somebody to unite the club together again having been through the Mourinho era, and maybe Nuno can do that.
He seemed to knit Wolves together well during his time there, guiding them from the Championship to the Europa League in no time at all.
His style of play isn’t quite like Pochettino though, and that may be one of the big things Tottenham fans are waiting to see from Nuno – but this is an encouraging start.
