If Uche Ikpeazu does sign for Glasgow Rangers that would surely be the end for Kyle Lafferty.

Lafferty has barely started for Rangers in 2019, with Steven Gerrard favouring other options.

The Daily Mail now say that Rangers have another striker on their wishlist in the form of Ikpeazu.

The Hearts forward is said to have attracted the attentions of Gerrard, and his qualities would put him in direct competition with Lafferty.

Uche Ikpeazu of Hearts looks on prior to the Scottish Ladbrokes Premiership match between Rangers and Hearts at Ibrox Stadium on October 7, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Ikpeazu would offer Rangers a lot of the same skills that Lafferty does, and would arrive as the Light Blues’ target-man.

With Lafferty already failing to get regular game time, his chance would be even more limited with Ikpeazu at Ibrox.

And if Ikpeazu does join Rangers then Lafferty may well have to search for another club this summer.
