Everton let Ronald Koeman go yesterday, after a terrible start to the season.

Hibernian Manager Alan Stubbs celebrates during the Scottish Cup Final between Rangers and Hibernian at Hampden Park on May 21, 2016 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Alan Stubbs has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 24th October, that he would like to see Thomas Tuchel take charge at Everton.

The Toffees are looking for a new manager to take charge, following Ronald Koeman’s dismissal yesterday.

Koeman has been sacked after what has been a disastrous campaign for Everton to date.

The Toffees look set to crash out of the Europa League in the group stages, and they are currently sat in 18th place in the Premier League table.

Stubbs now feels that Everton should go after Tuchel, following his departure from Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season.

“I’d like to see someone like a Thomas Tuchel. Whether he’s ready to come to the Premier League, I’m not sure, but I’d like someone like that,” Stubbs said.

“I know Sean Dyche is the front runner, but I don’t know whether his style of football will was with the Everton fans.”

Tuchel has never managed outside of Germany before, but he is regarded as one of the best, young managerial talents in European football.

If Everton could bring the 44-year-old in, it would be an impressive coup for the Merseyside club.

Tuchel is currently consider an outsider to land the Everton job with the bookies, with Burnley boss Sean Dyche the strong favourite at this moment in time.
