Alfredo Morelos is an important player for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers.
Alfredo Morelos of Rangers
The former Hibernian and St. Mirren manager believes that Morelos can be a liability for Rangers due to his dismissals.
Stubbs said on the Scottish Football Extra show on BT Sport 1 (11:27am, April 28, 2019) when asked if he would sell Morelos: “I would, yeah. I would. Obviously, we are not talking about ability, but on the pitch, he is a liability.
“He has left Steven down and he has let the team down too many times this season. When it’s in your DNA, it’s very hard to get out.”

Sell or keep?
Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and the Colombia international is an important player in Steven Gerrard’s Rangers team.
After all, the youngster has scored 17 goals and provided four assists in the Scottish Premiership for the Gers this season, according to BBC Sport.
However, Jermain Defoe has done well for Rangers since he joined Bournemouth on an 18-month loan deal in the January transfer window.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United striker has made eight starts and six substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for the Gers this season, scoring seven goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
If Rangers receive a big-money bid for Morelos, then it will not be a bad idea to cash in on the 22-year-old and sign a young striker who can learn from Defoe.
