Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers are better than Aberdeen, says Alan Stubbs.

The former Celtic central defender and ex-Hibernian manager, who now works as a pundit for BT Sport, has also praised Rangers for the signings they made in the January transfer window.
The Gers were busy last month, as they brought Greg Docherty, Jason Cummings and Russell Martin among others to Ibrox.

Stubbs told BT Sport when asked who has the better starting lineup – Rangers or Aberdeen: “I would say at this moment in time now I would fancy the Rangers team.”
“I think they have been very good, I must admit,” added Stubbs about Rangers’ January business.
“Graeme Murty deserves and his recruitment people deserve a lot of credit because they have made some very, very good signings.”

Rangers v Aberdeen for second spot
Aberdeen have some wonderful players, such as Kenny McLean, Gary Mackay-Steven, Adam Rooney and Ryan Christie, but Rangers’ business in the January transfer window does give them the edge in terms of finishing second in the Scottish Premiership.
Although the Gers are six points behind second-placed Aberdeen in third at the moment, they have a game in hand, and once the new players have settled in, the Ibrox club could be on a roll.
Rangers also got the better of Derek McInnes’s side 2-0 at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership last month.
