Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers and Celtic are due to meet in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.
Alan Stubbs has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 4th April, that he believes Celtic will get past Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
Celtic are set to take on Rangers later on this month, as they look to take a step closer to winning the treble.
Rangers will be determined to topple their Glasgow rivals and end their unbeaten record, but Stubbs feels that Celtic will have too much for Pedro Caixinha’s side to cope with.
“I think Celtic have been phenomenal this season,” Stubbs said. “They have been fantastic.
“They see Rodgers and think he’s made significant changes, but he hasn’t. He’s only signed Dembele and Sinclair. They’re head and shoulders above anybody there.
“There’s every chance it could be a Celtic against Hibs final.”
Rangers have taken on Celtic three times this season, and failed to win any of the matches.
Most recently, Rangers did put up a good fight against Brendan Rodgers’ men and claimed a point at Ibrox.
The upcoming clash will be new Rangers boss Caixinha’s first taste of the Old-Firm derby, and a fierce contest is expected.
Celtic and Rangers both have three league fixtures to take care of before they take each other on at Hampden Park.
