Graeme Murty’s Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers will finish second ahead of Neil Lennon’s Hibernian, says Alan Stubbs.

Speaking after Hibernian’s 2-1 victory over Celtic at Easter Road in the Scottish Premiership last Saturday afternoon, Stubbs, who managed Hibs from 2014 until 2016, said on BT Sport 1 (2:55pm, April 21, 2018): “Do I think they will finish second? I still think Rangers will pip them. I think they will finish third.”

Rangers or Hibernian?
The way Hibernian got the better of Celtic at home at the weekend was superb, and the Easter Road faithful will be optimistic about the team’s chances of finishing second in the Scottish Premiership this season.
However, Rangers do have a better squad, and their win against Heart of Midlothian at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon has boosted their chances of clinching the runners-up spot.

Aberdeen are also in the race for the second place, but the Gers have some superb players, such as Daniel Candeias and Josh Windass, and if they can beat Old Firm rivals Celtic this coming weekend, then their confidence will be sky-high.
With Rangers, Aberdeen and Hibernian all in the race for the second spot, the race for the runners-up position will be very exciting indeed.
