Alan Smith suggested on The Debate show on Sky Sports Premier League (10:22pm, May 2, 2019) that he would like to see Tammy Abraham get a chance at Chelsea next season.

Abraham is on loan at Aston Villa in the Championship from Premier League side Chelsea.

The 21-year-old striker is scheduled to return to the Blues when his season-long loan deal at Villa Park ends after the playoffs.

Former Arsenal and Leicester striker Smith has suggested that he would like to see Chelsea give a chance to Abraham.

Smith said about Abraham on The Debate show on Sky Sports Premier League (10:22pm, May 2, 2019): “I would like to see him brought back into the fold just to see how he reacts.”

Back to Chelsea?

Abraham has been superb for Villa this season and has been scoring goals regularly for the Villans.

The 21-year-old England international striker has made 37 appearances in the Championship for Villa this campaign, scoring 25 goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

It will make sense for Chelsea to give Abraham a chance next season and see how he copes with playing under the pressure that he will face at the Blues.
