West Ham United have signed Lucas Perez from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

West Ham signed Perez from Premier League rivals Arsenal on summer transfer deadline day for a fee reported by The Sun to be worth £4 million.
Smith said on Sky Sports News on Thursday evening (7:55pm, August 9, 2018) when asked for his bargain signing of the summer: “I am going to go with Lucas Perez for West Ham.
“He looked decent at times for Arsenal, didn’t really get a chance. He has got a bit of aggression about him, should suit the Premier League. I think he might do well.”

Good signing for West Ham United?
Perez joined Arsenal from Deportivo La Coruna in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £17 million.
The 29-year-old struggled to make an impact at Arsenal, as the forward played just 265 minutes of Premier League football during the 2016-17 season, according to WhoScored.
The Spaniard spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Deportivo, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 31 La Liga starts in the process, according to WhoScored.
Perez has yet to show that he can do it in the Premier League, but for a reported transfer fee of £4m, West Ham cannot really get wrong.
