Alan Smith raves about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Southampton legend and now Sky Sports pundit, Matt Le Tissier, said ahead of England’s World Cup qualifier against Malta that he fears Harry Kane could follow Wayne Rooney in trying to do everything on his own.
He added that Gareth Southgate must ensure that Kane keeps his focus on scoring goals. And he did exactly that on Friday night – the Tottenham striker scored twice as England managed a 4-0 win.

Kane broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute with a cool finish from Dele Alli’s pass, and added another in the dying seconds of the match.
Football pundit Alan Smith has given 9/10 to Kane in his player ratings report for Sky Sports.
He says that Kane’s all round performance, and not just goals and assists, makes him an important player for the England national team.

Smith adds that Kane’s first touch and awareness is first class, and that is why he is one of the best centre-forwards in the world at the moment.
Tottenham fans will hope that Kane will carry forward this goal scoring form for his club as well after the international break.
“Forget about his goals and his assist tonight, his all-round play makes him so important to the England team,” notes Smith for Sky Sports. “He has touch and awareness which is first-class and he is just one of the best centre-forwards in the world now.”
