Alan Smith has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 17th November, that he believes Tottenham Hotspur will draw with Arsenal this weekend.

Spurs and Arsenal get the Premier League action under way tomorrow, when they face each other in the lunch-time kick off at the Emirates Stadium.

And Smith believes that Tottenham and Arsenal could cancel each other out, in what will be a very pressurised contest.

The former Gunners striker said: “I don’t think Arsenal will lose. I think it’s going to be a draw.”

Tottenham go into the match in the better form out the London rivals, after victories over Real Madrid and Crystal Palace before the international break.

Arsenal, on the other hand, were beaten by Manchester City in their last outing, and the pressure is on them to recover.

Tottenham are already four points ahead of Arsene Wenger’s side, and a victory at the Emirates Stadium would only serve to further confirm the Lilywhites’ recent superiority in north London.

Wenger has been facing mounting pressure at Arsenal for some time, and a defeat to Spurs would lead to an increase in the ferocity of the calls for him to go.
