Tottenham Hotspur edged out the Black Cats on Sunday.

Alan Smith has told Sky Sports that the “amazing” Son Heung-min was his Man of the Match on Sunday as Tottenham Hotspur edged out Sunderland.
Tottenham extended their unbeaten record in the Premier League to five matches by squeezing past the Black Cats at White Hart Lane.

Harry Kane’s winner on 59 minutes was enough for Spurs, who have won three and drawn two of their first five top-flight outings this season.
Son, who netted twice in the 4-0 win at Stoke City last week, looked lively on the flanks, and Smith has said that he was the game’s stand-out player.
He told Sky Sports afterwards: “Man of the Match, I gave it to Heung min Son, who I thought was excellent down Spurs left-hand side. He was central throughout, very tricky and created a lot of chances.”

Could the South Korean set for a run of games through the middle? Kane suffered an ankle injury late on and the extent of his damage remains to be seen.
But if the injury keeps him out of action for a while, Son will rival Vincent Janssen for a starting spot up front. The 24-year-old had a few chances up front last season which he never really took, but he seems a different animal so far this season.
