Praise for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

It was a brilliant assist, as Salah found the Scotland international left-back with a superb pass.

And former Newcastle United striker and BBC Sport pundit Shearer was impressed.

Shearer said on Match of the Day on BBC One: “Look at this for a weight of pass.

“Robertson with the first pass, he follows that one. That is an incredible pass and a great finish there.”

Mohamed Salah a big player for Liverpool

Mohamed Salah may not have scored against Wolverhampton Wanderers, but his two assists show that he is a hugely influential player for Liverpool even when he is not banging in the goals.

Salah is often said to be greedy when it comes to scoring goals.

But, we should not ignore that he is a very good team player who is always there to create chances and provide assists for his teammates.

Salah has scored 141 goals in 236 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The Egyptian forward has given 63 assists in those games.
