Liverpool still need Manchester City slip up, if they are to win the league.

Alan Shearer suggested that Liverpool fans are starting to look really nervous, as the Premier League titles races nears its end, when writing his regular column for the Sun.
The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League table, two points clear of Manchester City, although Pep Guardiola’s side do have a game in hand over Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Liverpool have just one game remaining in the league this season – Wolves at home next week, and if they win that, they will finish the season on 97 points – a tally that would have been enough to win every Premier League season apart from last year.
The Merseyside outfit have not win the top flight title since 1990, and they have never won a Premier League crown, so their fans will be desperate for them to lift the trophy this season.
And Shearer shared how he’s noticed that the Liverpool fans are really starting to feel the strain, when writing his regular column for the Sun:

“Whatever experience has taught us about nerves and tension, these two teams both look like they are relishing and enjoying it. The same probably cannot be said for their fans. When the TV cameras panned to the Liverpool supporters in the last ten minutes at St James’ Park, nails were being bitten all over the show.”
Liverpool cannot do much more. They just keep winning games, but unfortunately for them, so do City.
Klopp’s side will not give up until he final whistle is blown, however, and whatever happens, this season really has been a fantastic one for the Reds.
