The French winger struck a ridiculous volley on 90 minutes to earn a point for Eddie Howe’s side away to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
It had been a mixed game for the Newcastle attacker up until then.
But to volley a dropping ball as well as he did, finding the corner beyond Jose Sa, illustrate the former Nice player’s brilliance.

The quality of this strike offered a timely reminder of how important he is for Newcastle.
Howe has some quality players, like Kieran Trippier, Bruno Guimaraes and now Alexander Isak following his £63 million transfer this week.
But Saint-Maximin might be the most important of any Newcastle star, based on his game-changing abilities.
And if he could be a little more consistent then, well, you’re looking at one of the best players in the Premier League.
The Frenchman has enough skill, speed and capacity for the sublime to be a massive player for Newcastle this season and it’ll be fascinating to see if Howe and Jason Tindall can bring him to the next level, because it is about time that he becomes the superstar he could become in England.
