The Liverpool midfielder was in fine form in the win over Middlesbrough.
Speaking to Match of the Day, Alan Shearer says Jurgen Klopp has given Adam Lallana a license to express himself this season.
Lallana has been in superb form so far this season as the Reds have challenged at the top of the Premier League.
He was the star of the show again on Wednesday evening as he scored two and assisted one in the win over Middlesbrough.
They took Lallana to four goals and four assists so far, the same as what he managed in the whole of last season.

It is an impressive tally and Shearer says it has come about because of Klopp giving him a license to express himself.
“Adam Lallana was the story. They had to win after recent results,” said Shearer on Match of the Day.
“He has six goals and six assists this season. He said he doesn’t think the manager has changed his game but he definitely has. He’s given him more license to roam and to get forward.”

Liverpool will now be hoping that Lallana can maintain his form for as long as possible, especially with Philippe Coutinho out injured.
The Brazilian international has been in impressive form to say the least, and with him absent the Reds will need somebody to step up and fill his boots over the crucial December period.
Lallana showed he can do that in this win and Klopp will be hoping for more of the same in the weeks ahead.
