Tottenham Hotspur have earned a crucial 1-0 win against London rivals Arsenal in the Premier League clash on Saturday at Wembley.

Former Newcastle United striker and now a popular football pundit Alan Shearer took to social networking site Twitter after the match to express his reaction on the game.

Shearer has hailed the victory as a “dominant performance” from Spurs, adding they were much better in every single position from their derby rivals.

He is spot on here. Spurs have thoroughly outplayed Arsenal and they could have easily scored three to four goals, had they been clinical.

Tottenham registered 18 shots with six on target during the game. With this victory, Spurs have moved above Liverpool in third position (The Reds play Southampton on Sunday) and have stretched their gap with Arsenal to seven points.
