Tottenham Hotspur won 1-0 against Arsenal in the north London derby clash on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur have earned a crucial 1-0 win against London rivals Arsenal in the Premier League clash on Saturday at Wembley.
Spurs striker Harry Kane’s towering header in the 49th minute made the difference between the two sides. He soared high above Laurent Koscielny to direct a Ben Davies cross beyond Petr Cech.

Former Newcastle United striker and now a popular football pundit Alan Shearer took to social networking site Twitter after the match to express his reaction on the game.
Shearer has hailed the victory as a “dominant performance” from Spurs, adding they were much better in every single position from their derby rivals.
He is spot on here. Spurs have thoroughly outplayed Arsenal and they could have easily scored three to four goals, had they been clinical.
Tottenham registered 18 shots with six on target during the game. With this victory, Spurs have moved above Liverpool in third position (The Reds play Southampton on Sunday) and have stretched their gap with Arsenal to seven points.
