Newcastle United won against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League on Saturday.

Newcastle United picked up all three points from their Premier League game this afternoon, as Rafael Benitez’s side got the better of Huddersfield Town 1-0 at home.
Ayoze Perez’s goal in the 80th minute proved to be the difference between Newcastle and Huddersfield at St. James’ Park.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Newcastle had 63% of the possession, took 18 shots of which three were on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Huddersfield had 37% of the possession, took four shots of which none was on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
The result means that the Magpies are now 12th in the Premier League table with 35 points from 31 matches.
Benitez’s side are as many as seven points clear of the relegation zone and look set to retain their Premier League status for the 2018-19 campaign.
Newcastle legend Alan Shearer, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, was pleased to see the Magpies win.
