Manchester United and Tottenham have been linked with a left-back swap.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a possible swap for left-backs Danny Rose and Luke Shaw.

Manchester United are keen on Rose, a move which would pose questions over the long term future of Luke Shaw.
Shaw struggled to win over United boss Jose Mourinho last season, and could benefit from linking back up with Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who he worked with at Southampton.
The Sun report Mourinho would be open to letting Shaw join Tottenham if it meant he could sign Rose.

Pundit Alan Shearer was asked by a Tottenham fan on Twitter if this was a deal he believed would leave Spurs any worse off, and he responded to say that he felt it would not.
It may take a little adjustment for Shaw at Tottenham, but his form under Pochettino at Southampton was terrific and earned him a big money move to United in the first place.
His development at the club has been hampered by injuries, but Shaw now hopes this is behind him.
The question is whether he will spend the best years of his career with United, or be sent to Tottenham.
