Newcastle United have won against Huddersfield Town, thanks to goals from West Bromwich Albion-owned Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez.

Alan Shearer has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Newcastle United’s win against Huddersfield Town.
Newcastle have got the better of Huddersfield 2-0 at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
After a goalless first half, Salomon Rondon – signed on loan from Championship club West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2018 – put the Magpies in the lead in the 46th minute.
Then six just minutes later, Ayoze Perez made it 2-0 to Rafael Benitez’s side, who had a numerical superiority since the 20th minute of the game when Huddersfield had Tommy Smith sent off a high tackle on Miguel Almiron.
Newcastle legend Shearer was following the match, and the former England international striker was pleased to see the Magpies win.

Shearer was impressed with the performance of 25-year-old Paraguay international attacking midfielder Miguel Almiron and 21-year-old midfielder Sean Longstaff for Newcastle against Town.
Meanwhile, former Newcastle defender Peter Ramage has praised Almiron for his display for the Magpies.
