Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has predicted on Coral.co.uk that Arsenal will not finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
Arsenal have not won the league title since 2004, but the Gunners consistently finish in the Champions League places.
However, according to former Newcastle striker Shearer, this could be the season when Arsene Wenger’s side end up outside the top four.

The former England international was not impressed with Arsenal’s performance against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League last weekend.
The Gunners suffered a 4-3 defeat to the Reds, who are expected to challenge for a top-four finish in the Premier League this season.
“I watched the Arsenal v Liverpool game and nothing I saw changed my mind about Arsenal,” Shearer wrote on Coral.co.uk.
“I don’t think their squad is strong enough. I don’t think they’ll win the league this season and I do think this could be the season they miss out on the top four.
“They will have periods during the season when we sit back and say how brilliant they’ve played, but ultimately with thirty eight games in the season I don’t think their squad is strong enough.”

Arsenal have a good squad, with some truly superb players such as Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
However, the Gunners are going to find it tough to finish in the Champions League places this season.
Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will all be eyeing top-four spots, and perhaps even Everton and West Ham United will fancy their chances.
