Alan Shearer suggested that it will be a nightmare for Liverpool if they fail to win the Champions League this season, when writing his regular column for the Sun.

Last season’s defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final will undoubtedly be playing on the Liverpool players’ minds, but they will also know that if they perform to their very best, they will most likely leave the Spanish capital with the trophy.

And if the Reds are victorious at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, it will be the first time in seven attempts that Klopp has won a major final.
